Because of its durability, Blast Etched Melamine signs are recommended for schools, public buildings and other high traffic facilities. Melamine is available in a wide range of colors as well as simulated wood grains, marble, granite and patterned finishes. A wide variety of color combinations is available in both 1/8" and 1/4" thicknesses. These signs are ADA compliant (the Braille and text are raised 1/32"), vandal resistant and fire retardant. The base material is a combination of melamine and phenolic resins bonded together with high temperature and high pressure to form a durable one piece sign blank.
