Plastic Laminated Tagboard
This weather-resistant posterboard has probably been most widely used as
campaign & election signs, but has also been used as an excellent poster
material, especially for screen-printed spot colors.
It can be used both indoors and outdoors. Laminated posterboard will last about
6 month outdoors, which is why so many campaigns have used this material. Other
uses may include Real Estate and related signs, Sale signs, "Bootleg" signs,
Window signs, and much more.

MDO Plywood
MDO stands for medium density overlay, for those of you who need to know. What
that really means is that plywood is made very smooth with a weather resistant
overlay for attractive and durable exterior sign applications. Newer versions
of MDO feature vinyl overlays - OmegaBoard™ - or aluminum overlays -
LusterBoard™ which make these signs great for mid to long range applications,
and are used for such diverse uses as commercial and residential real estate
signs to building identification signs and more. Most readily available in 1/2"
or 3/4".

Acrylic
Although this plastic is generally called "Plexiglas™," there are currently
several manufacturers of this glass-like plastic. Although it can be used
outdoors, it has been replaced mostly by polycarbonate plastic. However, as an
interior sign material, it is one of the most attractive and versatile sign
materials available. It can be back-lighted, screen-printed, painted, formed,
decorated with adhesive backed vinyls and digital graphics, to name just a few
applications for this outstanding plastic.
Some of the more popular uses are for ADA signs, Wayfinding signs, Aisle
Marking signs, and office door signs. It comes in thicknesses from 1/16" to 1"
or more.

Polystyrene
Can be used both interior and exterior for a variety of uses. We recommend
other plastics for exterior uses as polystyrene will yellow over time, but it
can be used as a screen-printed or vinyl poster material. It has a very
attractive and smooth appearance and comes in a variety of thickness, from
almost paper thin to 1/8" thick.
Suggested uses include Real Estate and related Signs, Point-of-Purchase signs
and posters, Event Posters and the like.
